Once the insurance company determines the value, be sure to ask for written documentation as to how they arrived at their figure. Some mitigating factors that may increase the value of your vehicle are: 1) Recent upgrades (not including maintenance/wear and tear items); 2) Low mileage; and 3) Overall condition of the vehicle.
