Explaining the Three Claims Arising From an Auto Accident

Listen as Kissimmee car accident lawyer, Michelle Incandela discusses the three distinct claims that arise following an automobile accident.

The first claim is for personal injury protection, which is often referred to as PIP. This claim involves the payment of your medical bills resulting from the accident. Regardless of fault, your insurance company will pay eighty percent of the medical bills and sixty percent of the lost wages, up to ten thousand dollars.

The second claim is for property damage, and it involves repairing your vehicle or compensating you for it, if it has been deemed a total loss. These claims typically resolve within a few weeks of the accident. Finally, the third claim is in regards to pain and suffering. If one or more doctors determined that you have a permanent injury, you may be entitled to compensation for these injuries. Watch the video to learn more.
