What To Do When You Don’t Understand Your Auto Insurance Policy

Listen as Michelle Incandela discusses what to do when you’ve received an auto policy that you don’t understand.

If you’ve been in an accident and you have questions about your policy, we can help you. Auto policies are about as fun to read as shampoo bottles, which is why most people don’t. Because of technology today, most of us purchase our insurance online and don’t have an agent present to ask questions.

In Florida, it’s important to ask those questions because there are so many parts to your policy, and there is also no requirement for an individual to carry bodily injury coverage. This means that drivers have no obligation to carry insurance that will cover you in the event that you are hurt. In order to properly protect yourself, you’ll need to purchase an uninsured motorist policy.

Many people are under the assumption that they carry full coverage in their auto policy. In fact, uninsured motorist coverage is optional, and may not be a part of your coverage, even though it is one of the most important types of coverage to carry. If you’re confused about your policy, give us a call, and we will help you. Watch the video to learn more.
