What To Expect In A Florida Divorce Mediation

Listen as Kissimmee divorce attorney, Linda Gruszynski describes mediation in a divorce proceeding and what to expect during the process.

Mediation in Florida Divorce

Mediation involves a neutral third party who meets with you and your spouse in an attempt to reach an agreement on the issues in your case. In Florida, court-provided mediation is available if your combined income is less than one hundred thousand dollars.

This process takes place at the courthouse, and it can last up to three hours. It allows you to make confidential offers of settlement in the interest of reaching an agreement. Once an agreement is reached, it is sent to the court, they enter an order and that part of the case becomes final. Watch the video to learn more.

If you have additional questions regarding court provided mediation during a divorce, call the experienced Kissimmee family law attorneys of Draper Law Offices at 407-846-0075. I welcome your call.
