Man Killed In Crash In Volusia County

A Chevrolet Equinox was heading east near mile marker 128 in the center lane when the SUV went off the right side of the road and went onto the grassy shoulder. The Equinox then went into a ditch and hit a fence. The impact caused the SUV to overturn several times. It stopped when it came to a rest on its left side.
The driver was only described as an adult man. He died at the accident scene. It is unknown why the man drove off the road. No other vehicles were involved. The crash is still under investigation.
