Three Children Sustain Minor Injuries After School Bus is Struck by Pickup Truck in Orlando

Three minor injuries took place when a car struck a school bus from behind with 23 children aboard on Dean Road and Winder Trail in Orlando on Monday August 19th. 33-year-old Adriana Santiago was driving southbound on Dean Road, behind a school bus that was transporting 23 children from Arbor Ridge Elementary. The school bus was attempting to make a right turn onto Winder Road and when Santiago’s dodge pickup truck struck the rear of the bus.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, three of the children sustained minor injuries, but none were transported to the hospital.

The driver of the car, Adriana Santiago, was ticketed for careless driving.

In these types of situations an experienced attorney can be extremely valuable in clarifying whether damages are appropriate or possible. Determining the amount of damages in these situations should be left to an attorney that understands and has years of experience being an advocate for the people in the community.
